A homeowner reached out to Decorilla to transform their living room into a cozy sitting room with a reading nook at one end. The fireplace wall and its flanking benches would stay, while everything else was open for reconsideration. In a nutshell, the designer had to:
- Select new seating and accent furniture for a cozy living room layout
- Develop a reading nook design for the far end of the room
- Choose an area rug to anchor the main seating zone
- Recommend wall color or treatment options
- Source modern, transitional pieces from preferred retailers
